Wilson James Solutions was born out of recruitment experiences that….well, didn’t lead to THRIVING let’s say. After a career in public accounting and various corporate accounting and finance roles, the idea for Wilson grew through different career stops and with various interactions with recruiters along the way. Spolier alert: most of them weren’t good.
Thriv is my solution to the problems I faced both as a candidate and a hiring manager. I was (and still am) presented constantly with opportunities that weren’t relevant to my career or experience. I was led through the process by pushy salespeople where their motivation was readily apparent. It was transactional to them and a life decision for me. It was getting calls as a hiring manager where no value was offered. They were simply a resume forwarder.
We focus on small and mid-sized CPA firms exclusively. We know the typical roles, the software, the seasons, the stresses, and strengths of progressive, forward-thinking CPA firm. We’ve worked with owners who get little attention from the big names in recruitment and the attention they get is with “B” candidates they couldn’t place elsewhere.
That hasn’t been us, and it never will. We provide boutique, innovative recruitment services to meet the needs of CPA firm owners: sharp, qualified talent that can do more and do it efficiently.
